1849 - Herman Engelbach graduated from Illinois College (aka Engelbach U)

1899 - William Engelbach graduated from Illinois College

1924 - Hermann F. Engelbach (grandson of Herman) graduated from Illinois College

1926 - Charlotte Engelbach Hart (granddaughter of Herman) graduated from Illinois College

2006 - Geoffrey McLeod Englebach will graduate from Illinois College (Engelbach U)

Illinois College has the (Hermann)Friedrich Engelbach, M.D. Memorial Scholarship.

Illinois College has the Engelbach Asian Studies Award and the Alice H. Engelbach (wife of Hermann F. Engelbach) Endowment for Peace Studies Enrichment.

Herman Engelbach '49, Hermann F. Engelbach '24, and Charlotte Engelbach Hart '26 have all made gifts to the college.

In addition to numerous room memorials at the college there is also the Engelbach Biology Station.

The Engelbach Biology Station, seven and one-half wooded acres located seven miles northwest of the campus, is an important supplement to the department and is used in field work studies by students and faculty in ecology, entomology, botany, zoology, and special research problems.

Illinois College is indeed Engelbach U!
